With children’s health and wellbeing as one of our priority, masakecil strive for a healthy and natural environment.
We understand that young children are still constructing their immune system. And to enroll them to an Early Childhood Education Center exposes them to a larger world, which also posed a health risk to young bodies. Hence, we do our best to make masakecil a place that is safe and natural to help young children grow smart, healthy and strong.
In every classrooms, we provide air purifier to clean the air and help prevent virus & bacteria being circulated. Whenever needed, we also diffuse age-appropriate dose of high quality essential oil, to support overall children’s health and emotional wellbeing.
Traditional approach also rarely failed. We use natural pandan and lemongrass leaves as classrooms aromatherapy to keep unwanted insects at bay. Masakecil also applies daily rigorous cleaning procedures to keep the environment healthy.
At Masakecil, children play and learn barefooted. This way, we believe that the children will be in their most comfortable state to enjoy their day. They spend a lot of time outdoor, playing on the grass field, under the sun, soaking the much needed sun rays that their little bodies need..
We believe playing outdoor without their shoes on will support and strengthen their physical development to grow strong and healthy.
In fact, Professor Jack Gilbert, the director of the Microbiome Centre at the University of Chicago whom also co-author of “Dirt is Good: The Advantage of Germs for Your Child’s Developing Immune System”, explains in his book the importance of exposing our children to nature.
On one interview with UK based news channel, The Independent, he says “Most parents think all germs are bad, that is not true. Most will just stimulate your immune system and make you stronger”.
