Job Description:
  1. Set expectations which inspire, motivate, and challenge children.
  • Establish a safe and stimulating environment for children
  • Set goals that challenge children of all background, abilities and dispositions
  • Demonstrate consistently the positive attitudes, values, and behavior which are expected of children
  1. Promote good progress and outcomes by children
  • Be accountable for children’s achievement, progress and outcomes
  • Guide children to reflect on the progress they have made
  • Encourage children to take responsible and diligent attitude to their own work and study.
  1. Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge
  • Have secure understanding of how a range of factors can inhibit children’s ability to learn and how best to overcome
  1. Teachers must plan and teach well-structured lessons.
  • Impact knowledge and develop understanding through effective use of lesson time
  • Promote a love of learning and children’s intellectual curiosity
  • Reflect systematically on the effectiveness of lesson and approaches to teaching
  1. Teachers must adapt teaching to respond to the strengthen needs of all children.
  • Know when and how to differentiate appropriately
  • Have a secure understanding of how a range of factors can inhibit children’s ability to learn and how best to overcome these
  • Have a clear understanding of the needs of all children
  • Demonstrate an awareness of the physical, social, and intellectual development of children, and know how to adapt teaching to support children’s education at different stages of development.
  1. Teachers must make accurate and productive use of assessment.
  • Know and understand how to assess the relevant subject and curriculum areas
  • Use relevant data to monitor progress, set targets and plan subsequent lessons.
  1. Manage behavior effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment.
  • Have clear rules and routines for behavior in classrooms, and take responsibility for promoting good and polite behavior both in classrooms and around the school
  • Establish a framework for discipline with a range of strategies, using praise, extinctions, sanctions and rewards consistently and fairly
  • Manage classes effectively
  • Maintain good relationship with children, exercise appropriate authority and act decisively when necessary.
  1. Fulfill wider professional responsibilities
  • Make a positive contribution to the wider life and ethos of the school
  • Develop effective professional relationship with colleagues, knowing how and when to draw on advice and specialist support
  • Take responsibility for improving teaching through appropriate professional development, responding to advice and feedback from colleagues
  • Communicate effectively with parents with regards to children’s achievements and well- being.


Requirements: 

  • Love children and teaching, to educate, shape and inspire future generation.
  • Minimum Bachelor degree, with Montessori or Preschool Teacher Diploma  preferred. Having experience minimum 3 years at reputable Preschool.
  • Fluent, good command in English. Both speaking and writing.
  • Operating computer is a must (Microsoft Office and other software).
  • Responsible, creative, communicative, and can work both on a team & individual basis.
